First wedding of 2021

I am rebuilding my blog here on this newer website of mine. If you want to look around at my other blogs while I re-write all these please click HERE

I’m going to share some images from the first wedding of my 2021 season. I’ve been getting a lot of attention in the Leavenworth area and I am so happy about that! Leavenworth has always been a special place for me. It’s easily one of the best places to have a wedding any time of the year but it’s otherworldly when the snow falls. The town looks plucked from a Christmas Fairy Tale. In case you’ve never been there, here’s a basic rundown of what Leavenworth is like “…Leavenworth is a Bavarian-styled village in the Cascade Mountains, in central Washington State. Alpine-style buildings with restaurants serving German beer and food line Front Street. The Nutcracker Museum displays thousands of nutcrackers, some dating back centuries. On the Wenatchee River, Waterfront Park is a habitat for ospreys and eagles. The village is a gateway to nearby ski areas and wineries.” Carissa and Micha choose their wedding location very wisely. Granted there were still plenty of Covid guidelines to follow, making it a small affair but by no means was it a small occasion. The wedding ceremony took place in the gorgeously modern designed vacation house overlooking the river below. Our plans for adventure were cut short due to snow but I think we captured enough smiles to fill an album or two.
