Lovejoy Noir: A Boudoir Experiment
Hi! I'm Brandon, a wedding & aspiring boudoir photographer based out of Central Washington. I get to take advantage of shooting in beautiful locations around Wenatchee, Leavenworth, Lake Chelan, Methow Valley, Spokane, and the Tri-Cities. I guess that means all over this beautiful state.
Lovejoy Noir is my venture into the world of Boudoir and Intimate Portraiture. It has taken me a while to find the right mix of ideals and techniques I want to use for capturing beauty that's honest and fun.
A lot of Boudoir businesses use studio setups for a high glamour look, which is totally fine. However, in my opinion, that approach tends to show how beautiful someone CAN be, rather than how beautiful they already ARE. It's a subtle difference, but an important one. Much like how my wedding photography goes, There is more of a focus put into candid expression and color. I treat every session as a collaboration — our vision, your vibe, our voice, your choice.
In all reality, I'm just there to find the right light and give some guidance along with the space needed for you to feel exactly like yourself.
Coming in 2027, my clients can choose to have a comlimentray boudoir or engagement shoot built into their 8 or more hour package.
I thought this was a pretty good idea since I primarily shoot weddings and travel all over Washington. You've already booked with me and you're already dolled up in a beautiful environment. It's so easy to sneak an intimate portrait session into the "getting ready" stage of your day. Inside or outside. Bridesmaid's can even be utilized to help us out. Why not take 30 minutes to capture something awesome for your partner. Your images would be thematic and cut from the official online gallery for privacy. Images can be delivered in a hardcover album or something fun like those View Master toys. The sky's the limit on that stuff.
