As a wedding photographer, I feel my duty to my clients is to be the best that I can be. My images must reflect the mood and color of the wedding at hand.
To do this, I frequently re-edit collections in different schemes to see which fits best. I employ different editing styles that emulate the look of film. I feel the look of film captures the emotions and glamour of a wedding far better than that of digital.
Digital sensors have a "plastic" quality to their imaging and I much prefer the textured and some-times flawed character that medium format film produces.
Certain film stocks have their own look and feel to them so it's important that I understand and operate within the bride's aesthetic choices.
Fuji film stocks can have pink tones in the highlights while Kodak can have more gold or tan qualities. Color matching and palate coordination has become a passion for me.
Your wedding should be held to the highest of standards from someone that obsesses over details and colors.
